1 “And you make the altar of shittim wood, five cubits the length, and five cubits the breadth—the altar is square—and three cubits will be its height. 2 And you make its horns on its four corners, its horns will be of the same, and you overlay it with bronze. 3 And you make its pots to remove its ashes, and its shovels, and its bowls, and its forks, and its fire-pans, even all its vessels you make of bronze. 4 And you make a grate of network of bronze for it, and make four rings of bronze on the net on its four extremities, 5 and put it under the rim of the altar beneath, and the net will be up to the middle of the altar. 6 And you make poles for the altar, poles of shittim wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7 And the poles will be brought into the rings, and the poles will be on the two sides of the altar in carrying it. 8 You make it hollow with boards. As it was shown to you on the mountain, so do they make it. 9 And you make the court of the Dwelling Place: for the south side southward, hangings for the court of twined linen, the length of the first side will be 100 by the cubit, 10 and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets will be of bronze, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets will be of silver. 11 And so for the north side in length, hangings of 100 cubits in length, and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets will be of bronze, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets will be of silver. 12 And for the breadth of the court at the west side will be hangings of 50 cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. 13 And the breadth of the court at the east side, eastward, will be 50 cubits. 14 And the hangings at the side will be fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three. 15 And at the second side will be hangings of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three. 16 And for the gate of the court will be a covering of twenty cubits of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, the work of an embroiderer. Their pillars four, their sockets four. 17 All the pillars of the court all around will be filleted with silver, their pegs will be silver, and their sockets bronze. 18 The length of the court will be 100 by the cubit, and the breadth 50 by 50, and the height five cubits, of twined linen, and their sockets will be bronze. 19 For all the vessels of the Dwelling Place, in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, will be bronze. 20 And you command the sons of Israel, and they will bring pure oil of beaten olive to you for the light, to cause the lamp to go up continually. 21 In the Tent of Meeting, at the outside of the veil, which will be over the Testimony, Aaron—his sons also—will arrange it from evening until morning before YHWH. It is a continuous statute for their generations, from the sons of Israel.”
