1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you will say to them: When a man or woman does extraordinarily by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to YHWH, 3 he will keep separate from wine and strong drink. He will not drink vinegar of wine and vinegar of strong drink, and he will not drink any juice of grapes, and he will not eat moist or dry grapes. 4 All the days of his separation he will not eat of anything which is made of the wine-vine, from kernels even to husk. 5 All the days of the vow of his separation a razor will not pass over his head. He will be holy until the fullness of the days in which he separates himself to YHWH. The upper part of the hair of his head will grow up. 6 All the days of his keeping separate to YHWH, he will not go near a dead person. 7 For his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister—he will not become unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God will be on his head. 8 All the days of his separation he will be holy to YHWH. 9 And when the dead dies beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he has defiled the head of his separation, then he will shave his head in the day of his cleansing. On the seventh day he shaves it, 10 and on the eighth day he will bring in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, 11 and the priest will prepare one for a sin-offering and one for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him because of that which he has sinned by the body, and he will hallow his head on that day. 12 And he will separate to YHWH the days of his separation, and he will bring in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days will fall, for his separation has been defiled. 13 And this will be the law of the Nazarite: in the day of the fullness of the days of his separation, he will bring to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, 14 and he will bring his offering near to YHWH—one male lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one female lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings, 15 and a basket of unleavened things of flour, cakes mixed with oil, and thin cakes of unleavened things anointed with oil, and their present, and their drink-offerings. 16 And the priest will bring them near before YHWH, and make his sin-offering and his burnt-offering. 17 And he will make the ram as a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, besides the basket of unleavened things. And the priest will make its present and its drink-offering. 18 And the Nazarite will shave (at the opening of the Tent of Meeting) the head of his separation, and take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it on the fire which will be under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings. 19 And the priest will take the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and put them on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving the hair of his separation. 20 And the priest will wave them as a wave-offering before YHWH. It will be holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the raised-offering. And afterward the Nazarite will drink wine. 21 This will be the law of the Nazarite who vows his offering to YHWH for his separation, apart from that which his hand attains. According to his vow which he vowed so he will do by the law of his separation.” 22 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus you bless the sons of Israel, saying to them: 24 YHWH blesses you and keeps you. 25 YHWH cause His face to shine on you, || And favor you. 26 YHWH lifts up His face on you, || And appoints for you—peace. 27 And they will put My name on the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.”
